  1. Of course. People do it everyday. I have a BA and I have no AA. It’s called four year university or college. None have AA. That’s Junior or Community College. It’s not so much jumping, as it is the norm when one attends a four year accredited college or university. When you attend a four year college or university the degree you receive at the end is a Bachelors. There is no AA after two years.

  2. When you get out of high school, you have the choice of going to a community college or university. Community college programs usually last two years and after completing these programs you receive an A.A. (the associates degree). At universities, programs typically take 4 years and when those are completed a BA or BS (bachelors in arts/science) are granted.

Further education can great you a masters and phD.

    Hope that helps!

  3. No, after high school you work on a bachelor’s degree. Several community colleges, and other 2 year schools “invented” the associates degree….many are not accrediated and are not very helpful in getting you employment. Go for the bachelor’s. (college professor)

  4. You do not have to earn an Assoicate’s degree. You can go straight to your bachelors degree.

  5. An associates degree is basically the first two years of your education to get a bachelor’s degree. If you want an associate’s and a bachelor’s, you have to begin at a 2-year or junior college and then transfer. At a four-year university, all four years are prep for your bachelor’s. Hope this helped!

  6. yes you can.
    im doing it now!
the main reason some people choose to get an associates first is because 1) they dont have the money/grades for a bachelors 2) they dont need the higher degree for the occupation they want

  7. ya after +2………….u can do bachelors degree

  8. You can go straight for the Bachelors.

Generally the Associates is what a lot of people get who only go as far as junior college (2 years). It basically consists of the core freshman and sophomore courses that you have to take just about anywhere, along with a few extra courses in AA (arts), AS(science), or AAS(applied science) tracts.

It’s like an optional 1st post-high school degree.

I suspect that most students go straight to a 4 year college or university go straight for the Bachelors.
